I love the women in my life that inspire me to sass up my style and feel fabulous and feminine in workout clothes! As a fitness instructor I am in gym clothes all day, every day! Combining feminine flair with my fitness wardrobe is an absolute must so I feel and look my best! 

Here are some fashionista tips I have collected from the women in my life including our fabulous, fearless Honey!

Never leave the house without lipstick

A little dab of lipstick goes a long way to freshen up your look.

It is impossible to dab Chanel number 44 La Diva on your lips and not feel like a diva! I still remember sneaking a dab of my grandmothers Chanel pink lipstick from the bathroom cabinet and feeling like a princess!

For every day lip care I love the lip scrub by Fresh to smooth out lines and add a dab of moisturizing lip shine!

Subtle Spritz

Feminine flair inspiration from Honey: find a nice subtle scent to wear. It will boost your mood and make you smile.

Some of my favorite scents:

  • Fresh - Honey showed me this line with the scrumptious subtle scents that make you smile! 
  • Santal 33 by Le L’abo is a mesmerizing, smoky floral scent combining amber, violet, iris and sandalwood. One inhale makes me stop whatever I’m doing and say Aaaaaaaaaah!

Add sparkle

Who says you can’t add a little sparkle with workout clothes? Yoga inspired beaded jewelry is a fun way to add color and style to fitness fashion. My favorite bracelets are by Energy Muse. This line has so many colors and styles to choose from to add sparkle to workout or every day wear!


Add a scarf, fun hat or your favorite purse to any outfit and viola!!! Fashion should not take a pause just because you are headed to the gym!

The best accessory is a big smile! Whatever you are wearing smile from the inside out. A sincere smile never goes out of style and brightens any outfit!

Rebekah Marcano - Fitness

Rebekah Marcano, owner of Define Personal Fitness, studied dance at Columbia College Chicago. She has been a personal trainer in the Chicago area for 16 yearsteaching group workout classes and personal training at corporations including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Navteq ,Nokia.

Combining her dance, gymnastics and yoga background with her expertise in weight training focusing on form and alignment, Rebekah has designed a unique style of training all her own constantly evolving to fit various clients needs and goals.
