Holiday Dressing Dilemmas Solved

By: Honey Good

Thankfully, the Holidays are full of parties and gathering with family and friends.  And while cheering and sharing with loved ones is easy, deciding what to wear to everything from charity galas to informal get togethers with girlfriends can have its challenges.

Have no fear. darlings, Here's my foolproof guide to surviving the holidays in style...

1) Dark Florals: Some think florals are a spring trend, but this season's dark florals are ideal for winter and keep style in bloom year round. Dark and moody florals add an of-the-moment Victorian goth element to your wardrobe and are incredibly wearable.  There are some gorgeous pieces available from Marc Jacobs, J Crew and even Valentino

2) Denim: Pair your favorite denim with a colorful blouse and accessories that "pop" for the easiest, most stylish outfit ever.  Remember my stories about choosing the right denim? Refer to them here and here or connect with me on social media (links at the end of this post) if you need help determining what denim is right for you.

3) My go-to holiday outfit... black and white:  I do love color, darlings, but I find nothing as easy and fail-proof as a sleek and flattering pair of black slacks with a black blouse and, of course, striking accessories.
