How to Organize Your iPhone

iPhone

There is pretty much an iPhone app for everything. Some are silly games, but some are really useful tools for day-to-day life. But the more apps your purchase, the more pages you have to dig through on your iPhone to get to them. Maybe it's time to organize your phone. Thanks to Mashable, we're going to share some great suggestions for how to organize your phone. Verbs. Try to organize all your apps in verbs-based folders. For example, you can create a folder called "Talk" to hold your text message, video chat and phone apps. "Navigate" can be used to hold such apps as Google Maps and Apple Maps. Creating folders is very simple. Just follow these steps:

1. Press and hold an app. 2. Move that app on top of another one you would like to be in the same folder. 3. Continue this until the folder is organized to your liking. 4. Change the name of the folder to an appropriate title.

Colors. This is a great organization tip for any visual people. If you click and hold an app, it will start to shake. Now you can change its location on your phone. Just arrange your apps in rainbow order, and you're done! The key here is to not place an app on top of another, only next to it. You're not creating folders here, only moving apps.

Alphabet.  I am personally a big fan of this one. Once you rearrange your apps from A to Z, you will automatically know where to locate your favorite apps.

Themed Rows. It's a miracle Apple doesn't do this one already. Move your apps into rows based on various themes. For example, put Facebook and Twitter in a social media row. Place your compass and map apps in a navigation row. This is great for people who aren't a fan of apps folders, like myself.

Frequency. This one may be the most common sense. Arrange your iPhone apps by how often you use them. So, try putting your top four apps on that row at the bottom of your phone, since those apps never move. Then, arrange your apps from most important to least important. That way, you will never have to search for your favorite app again. It will be the first thing you see on your home screen.

Enjoy your newly organized phone! You're going to be amazed at how much time this will save you.
