Recipe: Vanilla Energy Bites

Sometimes you just need a snack to keep you moving throughout the day, but as we're all trying to do our best to stay healthy, sometimes it's difficult if you don't have a tasty, healthy option at your fingertips -- so prepare ahead of time! Here's one of my favorites:

Recipe: Vanilla Energy Bites

Ingredients
  • 1 serving of vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup of oats
  • ½ cup of nut butter (almond, cashew or peanut)
  • ¼ cup of agave nectar or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and roll into balls.
  2. Add a tablespoon or two if the dough feels to dry.
  3. Store in an air tight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
