It’s that beautiful time of year … Memorial Day Weekend Sales! To me, Memorial Day Weekend signifies the start of the outdoor season. The warm feelings of glowing lights strung around a patio, fireflies blinking in rhythm with the crickets. Picnics with friends, barbeques with family. Golden sun on our (UV-protected) skin.

No matter how well-stocked our warm-weather closet or shed might be, there’s always that one more thing we need (or just plain want!). Memorial Day Weekend sales are the perfect excuse to go get them!

I love these finds for outdoor dining and picnics!

#3 MACY’S

Macy’s sales are hard to beat and these throws would be great for the beach or deck!

They update their Memorial Day sale all the way through the 30th, so don’t forget to check back often.

I am the self-appointed queen of accessories so you know I have to pick some up when there’s a sale!

#4 NEIMAN MARCUS

While I hesitate to choose a favorite store, I may have to go with Neiman’s!

You’ll definitely want to check out what’s on sale at Nordstrom. They go all out on Memorial Day sales with its highly-anticipated HALF-YEARLY SALE, which runs from May 27 through June 5.

We don’t know yet what will be included, but last year you could find up to 50% off on women’s style, menswear, and kids’ fashion. Not to mention, designer deals and amazing home buys. You could get up to 80% off clearance items, too.

More than anything, Memorial Day is a holiday that is close to my heart. You know I love my country. I mean, I named my pooch America! This is the day that we remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our great country.

I honor their sacrifice by enjoying the freedoms that they fought for. I am able to join friends for brunch on the patio or dig my toes in the sand on the beach because I am free.

And I am so grateful.
