Over the last year during COVID-19, we have all battled many struggles–both internal and external. It has been very hard on people all over the world. I think it’s especially been hard on women, because as I always say, “Women need women.”
Now, what do I mean by that? Women are social creatures. We love to gather, build community, and spend time with one another. When COVID hit, we were forced into our homes and cut off from our friends and communities. I know it made it very hard to meet new people, and join groups and do social things as we usually did before.
Why am I saying all this? Because I have a solution to your loneliness. Last year I created GRANDwomen with Moxie, a private Facebook group for women who want to meet other women. We are a group of almost 2,000 women, and we’d love for more of you to join us. We talk about everything, post pictures of our lives, and even have a weekly virtual friendship hour on Wednesdays via Zoom. Come and cure your loneliness, meet friends from all over the world, and bring back the social butterfly in you! I hope to see you there.

Take a Journey Through Spring
I saw this video from the New York Botanical Garden on YouTube and just had to share it. If you enjoy the spring season and flowers as much as I, you will love this “Journey Through Spring.” Since some of us aren’t traveling yet, take a trip through the NYBG and pretend as if you are smelling all the flowers.
