Everyone’s favorite people to shop for – the grands! I know all of us have grandchildren of various ages and stages and these items will be great for a variety of children. Oh, how special it is to watch your grands open a gift you got them! Are you ready to explore my holiday gift guide for your grandchildren for the 2022 season? Let’s get shopping darlings!

 

For the younger grands: a gift guide

Darlings, I love to give classic and timeless gifts to my grandchildren during the holidays! Things like dollhouses, pedal cars, mittens, stuffed animals, a great pair of boots, blocks, puzzle games, and books are great items that children can love for years and pass to siblings or friends!

For the older ones: holiday experiences!

Darlings, if your grandchildren have enough toys and things to fill the playroom, or even if they’ve outgrown much of what you can find in the shops – consider gifting them with experiences! Experiences become memories and memories keep on giving! Here are some places to consider (of course look up great places where your grandchildren live!): the local Zoo, the local aquarium, a play center, a children’s museum or science museum, or an amusement park (even Disney if it’s in the budget) can be great gifts for grandchildren of all ages.

If you have the pleasure of living near your grandchildren, consider taking them out for the day (this acts as a double gift- a gift for the parents too!). Take them to their favorite ice cream shop, out for lunch, treat them to something they’ve been wanting but may be impractical for their parents! They’ll remember the day forever!
