You know, I can remember the craze of Black Friday’s past where people would line up outside stores on Thanksgiving morning to get the deal. And honestly, I’m glad that is now a thing of the past. I don’t think we should be missing out on precious time with our families in order to secure a new tv or fancy bed linens, even if they are 80% off. I’m glad big retailers are now taking a stand and closing completely on Thanksgiving day so their workers, and shoppers, can be home with family and friends. 

Most large retailers are running Black Friday sales before and after Thanksgiving, which I think is a wonderful idea. It gives people the opportunity to get the deals they want and need and still keep Thanksgiving Day a priority. 

I’ve been keeping my eye out at some of my favorite retailers this week to see what sort of deals they’re running for the shopper’s holiday. Below I will list just a few of my favorites. Keep in mind, today may be Black Friday but in just a couple of days Cyber Monday will be here! Whether you shop in stores or online, you’re sure to find a great deal.
