I Love, Love!
Darlings, February is upon us, which means it is the month of LOVE.
I love that there is a month dedicated to LOVE because I am lucky to experience it every day in all facets of my life. No matter if you have a partner or don’t, or if you have a close family or not, love is an emotion that all of us can experience.
Love comes in any form, my dear readers. But first, we must have love for ourselves, then we can have deep love for anyone or anything.
Valentines Day
Valentine’s Day is an interesting holiday! Do you know it’s origins? According to Wikipedia:
“Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14. Originating as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early saints named Valentinus, Valentine’s Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world.”
I know that some people don’t enjoy Valentine’s Day, either because of it’s commercialism or because they are single. However, in my opinion, you do not need to have a partner to celebrate love. You can celebrate the love you have for yourself, the love you have for your pet, your family, your children or any blessing you have in your life.
Gift Giving
With all of that being said, Darlings, how do you show your love for someone?
