Happy Saturday! This week has been such an interesting one. So, today, I’ve decided to share some of the most fascinating things I discussed + discovered this week. I’m calling it my weekend musings. If you love it, maybe I’ll do it again in the future. Please do let me know, darlings!
Megyn Kelly Leaves NBC… with $30 million dollars, or so.
The New York Times, which Shelly and I read over breakfast most mornings, shared this morning that Megyn Kelly and NBC have parted ways. But, Kelly was paid the outstanding balance on her contract, roughly $30 million. Talk about a severance package! What do you think of this development? Were you a fan of Kelly?
Reflections on the Golden Globes
I have a lovely friend, who shall remain unnamed, and this person has a site where, under a pseudonym, movies are reviewed.
When Shelly and I are in California each winter, we go to the movies regularly which is why I find this friend’s site, Peneflix.com, so helpful. The movie reviews are the right length, providing plenty of information without being too much of anything. Not too harsh, not to dull, not too long.
The site is divided into three main sections of movie reviews: Hollywood, Bollywood, and foreign movies. One of my favorite stories this week was a brief wrap up of the Golden Globes awards. Did you watch them?

Your favorite story at HoneyGood.com
In case you missed it, your favorite story on HoneyGood this week was a little piece I wrote about getting organized in 2019. I asked our community if getting organized for 2019 was on the to-do list. “Yes!” was the resounding reply!
And so, this week I shared how I saved my sanity using a system I devised. The system is simple; it’s a combo of my paper ‘day’ calendar and my ‘monthly’ MacBook Air calendar app.
Have you gotten organized for 2019?
