On Thursday it was World Cancer Day. I wrote an article (read here) about how I got through this scary experience, and how I have helped others.
One of the main things I discussed was that although I was terrified, I retained a positive attitude and was grateful. Why? Because in order to keep my mind and body healthy, I had to. Sometimes, challenges are what make us. They make us stronger, more daring, and we are definitely more grateful for life. Now, I’m not saying that you need to have cancer to appreciate these things. We all go through hard times that teach us these lessons.
Today, I encourage you to grab your journal and think of all the things you have learned in life. Then, find how each of them changed you and made you grateful. This will definitely show you how to have a positive attitude, too! Trust me, I know.
Now, on to my Weekend Musings…
