Summer Is Coming!
Darling, this week was a trying one for us all. Though we had many ups and downs, I believe we will all come out of this as stronger people and a stronger world.
No matter what, make sure to take care of your mental health. Go out in nature, take a deep breath, and be grateful for your life and your health.
Sending love to you each and every day.
How to Make a DIY Floral Arrangement
Looking for an activity to do at home? Now, it requires going to the grocery store, but just make sure to put some flowers on your shopping list.
This video is wonderful and teaches you how to make a flower arrangement on a budget with flowers you get from the grocery store. How fun!
If you end up doing this activity, make sure to send pictures to me so I can see your beautiful work.
A Woman of Substance – Daisy Bates
Every week I am attempting to show women of substance. Women that have done something for the world, and have inspired so many others. This week I decided to include Daisy Bates.
According to PBS, “Daisy Bates was a complex, unconventional, and largely forgotten heroine of the civil rights movement who led the charge to desegregate the all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957.”

This video is just what I needed today. I didn’t have a frog to keep my arrangement in place. I had forgotten all about chicken wire and tape. My flowers are falling over from the wind and rain. I love bring them inside and making arrangements to enjoy throughout the week.
I’ve been following you for over a year, but this is my first time leaving a comment. I wanted to sent a picture of my arrangement but didn’t know how.
