Happy Labor Day Weekend!
I know that this year has been a strange year for all of us. Celebrating or doing the normal ‘Labor Day’ activities may even be impossible for many. However, I think this year is a great time to celebrate Labor Day for what it really is and for what it means.
This comes from our government’s website:
“Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.”
So, let us celebrate those who have created our America and the creation of the labor movement. Today, we celebrate the workers.

I am subscribed to the National Geographics weekly email, and this week, one of the articles was about Magellan and his trip around the world. Many of us who know this story, believe him to be the first to sail around the world… however, that is not correct. I know! It blew my mind.

Wow, I would have never guessed! I was sure you would say early morning, probably walking America. But I like your choice a lot and aggre, that for those of us lucky enough to have a spouse, going to bed together at the end of the day is the best. Although sharing that first cup of coffee at sunrise runs it a close second!
