Getting Older, But Staying Vital
This past week I had time to reflect on getting older and changes in life. Having just moved out of our second home in California (one that we built from the ground up) last week, I had a lot of time to think. While there, and on the airplane.
We all change and grow, no matter how much we try to stop it with anti-aging creams, exercise, and sometimes more drastic measures.
There is something to embracing age and embracing change, instead of trying to stop it in its tracks. But, that can be scary. Very scary, especially for women.
Society puts so much pressure on us women to be and look a certain way. Then, when we age, we often feel as if we are becoming yesterday’s news… alone and forgotten.
But, there are ways we can stay very relevant. And not alone. One, we can choose to work on ourselves. I always suggest journaling out your thoughts and feelings, at least for 30 days. See where that leads you in your self-discovery.
Then, take care of yourself and your own mental health. Get your nails done, take yoga, take an online glass, etc.
Finally, join groups. Come join my online community on Facebook GRANDwomen with Moxie or find another group you enjoy or even take a class.
Find ways to express yourself and let your voice be heard. You are a vital part of this world, and you are loved by others. I guarantee it. And, I hope this helps you, darling. I am smiling!
CHANEL Spring-Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear Show
See the latest Chanel Spring/Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear collection, imagined by Virginie Viard and presented this past Sunday at the Grand Palais in Paris during Paris Fashion Week.
I love Chanel, and I love their ready-to-wear looks. So chic, so bold and wonderful. I also love the incorporated prints.
