We are already at the end of July, isn’t that amazing, darling? Pretty soon it will be fall, but that doesn’t mean we should stop enjoying what’s left of summer. Speaking of enjoying summer, this past week my private Facebook group GRANDwomen with Moxie had its first meetup at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
What a wonderful day it was. They saw fabulous gardens, flowers, and waterfalls, had beautiful weather, and had conversations about their families, hobbies, dogs, and work. I can’t wait for more women to do it again soon. Please come join our group so you can either attend our next gathering or plan one in your area!
Now, on to my Weekend Musings!

Have you heard the name, Wally Funk? She is most definitely a woman with MOXIE! Back in 1961, she was supposed to go to space on Mercury 13 with several other women but lost her chance when federal funding was not provided.
Finally, at the age of 82, she was able to finish her mission! Along with billionaire Jeff Bezos and others, Wally Funk flew into space on Tuesday morning. She is now also the oldest person to be launched into space as well! How amazing is her story?

This past week we published an article all about astrology charts! We got many comments that people just loved it. So, when I came across this topic of “The Best Astrology Books For Beginners” on Town&Country, I just had to share. This list includes books on birth charts, compatibility, astrological houses, and what risings signs mean! I don’t know much about astrology, but it is such an interesting topic. And, it seems that a lot of young people are very into it as well. This could be a topic you could connect with your grandchildren on!
